A food lover friend of mine told me that, if there was one food blog I should follow religiously, it was yours. Perhaps I'm friends with her because she's so perceptive! Thanks for being my best gift of 2012. Happy Holidays to all y'all.
Love your web site and blogs--even if I haven't tried any of the recipes so far, I enjoy looking and reading and thinking about the day when I will try some...
Merry Christmas to you! You will be a part of my holidays with your biscotti. Thank you for an amazing food and knitting year. Your inspiration is contagious. All the best to you in 2013!
Thank you for all the delicious ideas and recipes. This year we added the dried apples slices to the list of sparkling cranberries and the vanilla that make up our Christmas sharing with family and friends.
Ditto on everything your loyal readers say! You're an inspiration with all your talents Elaine. Have a wonderful Christmas with your family, love all your photos!
As an old Italian cook who rarely thinks anyone can out cook him, may I say that yours is the only blog I always read, and the only recipes I always try. Buono Natale to you and yours and may you have a blessed New Year.
Oh, how I enjoy your beautiful writing, photographs, AND recipes. You help to bring the world of our wonderful, hard-working parents, grandparents, and their forebears come alive Buon Natale!
Dear Elaine, you are an artist through and through. I impressed my chef with the orangettes that you posted and even brought some to my friends in Germany, they were impressed. All your picture photos ae so beautiful, and your lovely trips, and travel tales, you could be anything. And I am sure your family is very very lucky for having such a lovely talented mum. I wish you all at home happy holidays and all the best for the new year. Faye from Singapore & Canada
Elaine, What a beautiful message for the holiday season. The love and joy that you put into all your projects is exceptional. Thank you for sharing your talents. We love trying and sharing your many ideas. All the love and best wishes to you and your family for the New Year. Thank you, Jill
Dear Elaine, We absolutely LOVE your blog and visit frequently looking to the latest. You have enriched our lives through your delicious guidance and warm ways. We recently started cooking and baking more outside with a pizza oven we got through http://www.fontanaforniusa.com. We'd love to see some recipes and advice on using wood fired ovens as it's been kind of trial by error... Though most of the time we do get it right.
